Hold søgespolen ca. 5 cm over jorden og bevæg den langsomt fra side til

side.

Hold hele tiden søgespolen parallelt med jordoverfladen.

Lyt hele tiden efter lydsignalet og hold øje med viseren.

HUSK! Metaldetektoren reagere på alle slags metaller også de værdiløse.

FIN-INDSTILLING AF DETEKTOREN

Fin-indstillingen kan gøre det lettere at skelne mellem forskellige metaller,

specielt når man først har lært detektoren at kende. Til fin-indstilling bruges

knappen DISCRIMINATION.

Det man justerer er hvor meget metal der skal være til stede for at

detektoren reagerer på det. Hvis knappen drejes helt mod venstre skal der

være et temmelig stort stykke metal til stede for at detektoren reagerer, og

hvis den drejes helt mod højre, vil selv et lille stykke sølvpapir give udslag.

Den korrekte indstilling af denne knap vil derfor være helt individuel

afhængig af hvad man søger efter.

2. Lengthen or shorten the stem so when you stand upright with the

detector in your hand, the search coil is level with and about 1/2 to 2

inches above the ground with your arm relaxed at your side.

3. Turn the stem’s lock nut counter clockwise to lock it in place.

ADJUSTING THE SEARCH COIL

Loosen the knobs at the search coil’s end, then adjust the search coil to the

desired angle. (The search coil should be parallel with the ground.) Tighten

the knobs just enough to keep the search coil from rotating or wobbling.

INSTALLING BATTERIES

You need six AA batteries (such as SkyTronic Cat. No. 656.010) to power

your detector.

Cautions:

 Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.

 Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries (standard,

alkaline, of rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of different

capacities.

1. If the detector is on, turn VOLUME(on the control housing) to OFF. (The

control clicks.)
