KABELVERBINDINGEN
Deze serie speakers is uitgevoerd met 4-p luidspreker connectoren. Deze connectoren kunnen door middel
van een draaibeweging vastgezet worden. Ook kunnen de speakers parallel aangesloten worden. Voor
optimale performance raden wij u aan alleen kabels te gebruiken die speciaal voor deze speakers ontworpen
zijn. Gebruik geen ander type kabel.
Het is zeer belangrijk de juiste kabel te gebruiken. Een kabel die te dun is zal er voor zorgen dat het
vermogen van uw versterker wegvloeit. Als u een kabel met een te lage dempingfactor gebruikt, kunnen er
lage tonen verloren gaan alvorens de speaker te bereiken. De tabel hieronder geeft aan welk type kabel u
nodig heeft tegenover een bepaalde impedantie en kabellengte
Bij het gebruiken van onderstaande tabel dient u in oog te houden dat 2 parallel geschakelde 8 Ohm kabels
een weerstand van 4 Ohm genereren (zie “speakers in serie schakelen”).
Speakers in serie schakelen
Het aansluiten van een groot aantal speakers met uw versterker kan resulteren in schade aan uw versterker.
Om de gecombineerde impedantie van meerdere identieke speakers die parallel geschakeld zijn, dient u de
onderstaande formule te hanteren:
Impedantie van een enkele speaker
--------------------------------------------------------- = Belasting op versterker
Aantal parallel geschakelde speakers
Kijk in de handleiding van uw versterker om te zien welke impedantie uw versterker aan kan.
INGANGSPANEEL
(alleen op de 12” en 15” versies)
“Loop thru” functie
De twee connecties op het achterpaneel van de speakers zijn parallel geschakeld. Dit betekent dat het
signaal dat u inplugt, op de andere connectie als uitgangssignaal gaat gelden. U kunt deze nu verbinden met
een andere speaker om de speakers parallel te schakelen.
