10. Using the microwave
10.1 Microwave function
WARNING! Fire hazard
Never use other metallic objects in microwave mode. This can create sparks.
During the cooking process, water drops can form on the door (8) and the casing of the
microwave. This is not a malfunction. After cooling, wipe the moisture away with a dry cloth.
You can interrupt the microwave function at any time by opening the door. You can do this,
for example, to turn the food. When closing the door again, the cooking process resumes.
To stop the microwave function before the cooking timer has elapsed, turn the cooking time
adjustment knob (2) to "O".
The procedure is as follows:
• Open the door (8) using the handle (9).
• Add the food you want to heat-up into a microwave-safe container and place it in the centre of the
glass plate (7).
• Close the door (8) and make sure that the door lock (10) clicks into place properly.
• Set the cooking level adjustment knob (1) to the desired cooking level. (See figure B).
• Next set the cooking time adjustment knob (2) to the desired cooking time. Please refer to the weight
of the food or the specifications of the food producer (which are often found on the food packaging).
• After setting the cooking time the microwave starts heating the food automatically.
• After the set cooking time, the cooking process stops automatically and an acoustic signal sounds.
If you want to stop the cooking process before the set time has elapsed, turn the cooking time adjustment
knob (2) to "0". An acoustic signal can be heard to indicate the end of the cooking process.
• Open the door (8) using the handle (9).
• Remove the heated food. Wear oven gloves to avoid getting burnt!
When not using the product, the cooking time adjustment knob (2) must be placed to "0".
