Standby mode
¾If no control is pressed for a longer time, the
product automatically switches to standby mode.
The current time is shown in the display 4.
Setting the time
¾Connect the power plug 3 with a wall socket.
1:00 and are shown in the display 4. A
beep sounds.
¾In standby mode: Press andhold 7
for a few seconds. 12 H is shown in the
display 4 (H: “Hour”).
¾Use the dial 8 to set the desired time display:

12 H 12 hour mode
24 H 24 hour mode
¾Press the dial 8 to confirm your selection.
¾The hour display is flashing. Use the dial 8 to
set the hours.
Press the dial to confirm your selection.
¾The minute display is flashing. Use the dial 8 to
set the minutes.
Press the dial to confirm your selection.
¾The time is set now.
Setting the timer
The product has a timer that can be used
independently of the product's operation.
¾Press 7. is shown in the display 4.
¾Use the dial 8 to set the desired time:
Time setting
(Timer) Time increments
less than 5 minutes 10-second increments
from 5 to 10 minutes 30-second increments
from 10 to 30 minutes 1-minute increments
from 30 to 95 minutes 5-minute increments
¾Press the dial 8 to confirm your selection. The
set time is counted down. After approximately
3 seconds, the current time is shown again. The
timer continues to run in the background.
NOTE: If you wish to check the progress of the
timer: Press 7. The time is displayed for
a short time.
¾As soon as the time has elapsed, a beep sounds.
Cancelling/stopping the input
process
¾Cancel the input process: Press
10
. The
product switches to the standby mode.
Child lock
Activate this setting to prevent accidental activation
by children and other persons not familiar with the
operation of the product.
¾Activate child lock: Press and
hold 9. 2 short beeps sound. Continue
to press until a beep sounds and is
shown in the display 4. The buttons and the dial
are now deactivated.
¾Deactivate child lock: Press and hold 9
until a beep sounds and goes off in the
display 4.
