8.1 Daily cleaning
The water tank and drip tray should be cleaned on a daily basis.
1. Switch the appliance off and disconnect the mains plug.
2. Remove the water tank (and water lter if tted).
3. Clean the water tank with clean water and a mild detergent, and dry it
inside and outside with a lint-free cloth.
4. Re-insert the water lter if necessary.
5. Pull the drip tray out of the appliance.
6. The interior should be cleaned on a daily basis. Always allow the appliance
to cool down rst, switch it off and disconnect it from the mains.
7. Remove the grounds container and empty the coffee grounds.
8. Clean both parts and the cup tray with clear water and a mild detergent.
9. Re-assemble the drip tray (g. 8) and slide it back into the appliance
NOTE!
– The drip tray and grounds container are both
dishwasher-safe.
– After the appliance has been switched off, and
before any extended period of non-use, empty
the water tank and ensure it is completely dry
before it is retted.
8.2 Cleaning programmes
The device has automatic cleaning programmes. These can be started from
the menu at any time.
