PATENT KENNISGEVING

U.S. Patents zijn uitgegeven, of van toepassing op, om de volgende ontwerpeigenschappen te beschermen: Resterende

duiktijd (U.S. Patent nr. 4,586,136), Gegevens sensor en verwerkingsapparaat (U.S. Patent nr. 4,882,678), en

opstijgsnelheidsindicator (U.S. Patent no. 5,156,055). Weergave door gebruiker in te stellen (U.S. Patent no. 5,845,235) is

eigendom van Suunto Oy (Finland).

DECOMPRESSIE MODEL

De programma's in de XP 5 simuleren de opname van stikstof in het lichaam aan de hand van een wiskundig model. Dit model

is slechts een manier om een beperkte set gegevens toe te passen op een groot bereik aan ervaringen. Het XP 5-

duikcomputermodel is gebaseerd op het laatste onderzoek en experimenten. Het gebruik van de XP 5, net als bij het

gebruik van de US. Navy tabel of andere niet-decompressietabellen, is geen garantie op het voorkomen van

decompressieziekte, d.w.z. "The Bends". De fysiologie van iedere duiker is anders en kan van dag tot dag variëren. Er is

geen enkele machine die kan voorspellen hoe uw lichaam reageert op een bepaald duikprofiel.
