Basic Functions
Switching the Unit On & Off
1. Power the unit as described above.
2. The unit is now in standby mode.
3. To switch the unit on, press the Radio ON/OFF button (1) once.
4. To switch the unit off into standby mode, press the Radio ON/OFF button (1) again.
Volume Control
To increase the volume, press the VOL+ button (5).
To decrease the volume, press the VOL- button (6).
Clock Setting
The clock must be set while in standby mode.
1. When the unit is powered on for the rst time “0:00” will be ashing in the display, indicat-
ing that the unit is already in clock setting mode. Proceed to step 3.
2. If the clock has been set before and you would like to adjust it, press and hold for 2
seconds the SET button (2).
3. While the time is ashing, press the Hour button (8) to adjust the hours and the Minute
button (7) to adjust the minutes.
4. Once you have set the current time, press the SET button (2) to conrm your settings
and exit the clock setting mode.
Alarm Setting
This unit enables you to set 2 different and independent alarm times. You can select to wake to
buzzer or radio. The alarms must be set while in standby mode (radio off).
1. To set alarm 1 [or alarm 2] press the AL-1 button (5) [or AL-2 button (6)] while the unit is
in standby mode. The alarm time will be ashing.
2. While the time is ashing, press the Hour button (8) to adjust the hours and the Minute
button (7) to adjust the minutes of the desired alarm time.
3. When the time is set, press the AL-1 button (5) [or AL-2 button (6)] again repeatedly to
select between the following modes (indicated by a dot in the display):
Wake to buzzer
-> Wake to radio -> Alarm off
4. Release all buttons for 3 seconds to conrm your settings.
5. When you have selected “Wake to buzzer”, the buzzer will sound at the set time.
When you have selected “Wake to radio”, the last frequency set will be played at the last
volume selected at the set time.
