Changed batteries. Screen shows C(celcius) symbol for couple of seconds. After that OFF and turns off. Can't be turned on again. Broken?

After I chaged batteries, the screen only show ”CLr” and i can’t use thermometer anymore, is there something what I can do to make it work

I had the same. Clear sensor to perfect clean. Remove batteries, wait couple minutes and insert batteries with "head" button preset. I make couple attemps and its work again ;)
