• Place your appliance on your night table.
• Plug the power cord in.
To start with, you can simply set the time and the alarm.
1 Installation
•
Press button (2) once: the hour digits blink.
• Then press the + or - buttons (5 or 6) to scroll the hours.
•Pressbutton (2) again to freezethehoursandmove on to setting theminutes.
• The minute digits blink.
• Press the + or - buttons (5 or 6) to scroll the minutes.
• Press button (2) again to freeze the minutes.
Now the time is set.
2 Setting the time
• Press button (3) once: the hour digits blink.
• Then press the + or - buttons (5 or 6) to scroll the hours.
• Press button (3) again to freeze the hours and move on to setting the
minutes.
• Theminute digits blink,thenpress the+or - buttons (5 or 6)to scroll the minutes.
• Press button (3) again to freeze the minutes.
Now the alarm time is set.
3 Setting the alarm time
Choosing the wakeup mode:
Now you can choose how you wish to be woken up: simply press the
button of your choice:
• Button (7) = Invigorating wakeup setting.
• Button (8) = Gentle wakeup setting
• Button (9) = Personalised wakeup setting (see instructions)
4 Setting the type of alarm
• When you choose the Gentle wakeup programme you will be awoken
by progressively brighter light over a 45-minute period, followed by the soft
tones of a wind chime, birds singing or sea and waves.
• When you choose the Invigorating wakeup programme you will be
awoken by progressively brighter light over a 15 minute period, followed by
a tonic sound: percussions or a Tibetan Gong.
• When you choose the Personalised wakeup programme you will awake,
depending on your preference, with progressively brighter light over a 15-,
30- or 45-minute period, followed by the sound of your choice or the radio.
For the adjustments refer to the instructions in chapters 8, 9 and 10.
