OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Take motor and lid away from the container and put the container onto a stable, dry
and clean working surface.
2. Make sure that the knife insert is correctly positioned on the circle in the middle of the
container.
Fill the container with the food. If necessary, cut it into smaller pieces before filling it in.
Make sure not to fill in more than up to the max. filling level, which is marked with -
MAX.- on the container.
3. Put the lid on. (The appliance does not switch on if the lid was incorrect to put onto the
container).
4. Put the motor onto the appliance and plug the mains plug into a socket.
5. Press the motor down. As soon as you let it go, the motor stops. Wait until the knife
stands still.
Wet or soft food can be processed best by pressing briefly several times onto the
motor.
The multi mixer works extremely quick; some kinds of food are
processed within one second. The mixer is designed for short time
operation of max.1 minute. If you need it for longer, switch it off after 1
minute and allow the motor to cool off for 15 minutes.
6. Always pull the mains plug out of the socket before taking off the motor.
Take out the knife insert before emptying the container.
TIPS AND HINTS
The appliance has a safety contact, which prevents a switching on of the appliance if
the lid not positioned correctly.
The appliance is not suitable for chopping of hard ingredients such as coffee beans,
ice or frozen food.
Always insert the knife insert first before filling in the food.
If the insert does not turn or only heavily, pull the mains plug out of the socket. Check
whether there is any obstruction in the container, and remove it.
Check whether the knife insert is positioned correctly and can move freely.
If the knife insert does not reach its full speed within a few seconds, pull the mains
plug out of the socket and take a part of the food out; before continuing the food
processing.
Side back damp food, if necessary, back to the middle of the container with a spoon
or similar object.
Under no circumstances use your fingers!
An even processing of the food is reached by filling in pieces of the same size and do
not input food exceeding the MAX. line.
If you want to puree the ingredients, these have to be cooked beforehand.
Do not overfill the container.
Do not let the appliance run while empty.
CLEANING
Always pull the plug out of the socket.
The motor must not be immersed in water or any other liquid.
Wipe the casing off with a slightly damp cloth, if necessary.
Possibly use a little washing-up liquid. Never use any abrasive cleaning agents or a
sponge with a rough surface for cleaning.
Cleaning container, chopping lid or conserve lid
Wash the container, chopping lid or conserve lid in warm water and with a little
washing-up liquid.
Leave the parts to dry completely, before assembling the appliance again, as due to
remaining water mould can develop.
Due to the processing of harder, rubbing food the container may become dull in the course
of time. This is normal and does not interfere with its functionality
CLEANING THE KNIFE INSERT
Caution, the knife is sharp. To avoid injuries, the cleaning water should be very
clear, so that you can see the knife when washing it.
