Met de CB Radio de versterker aansturen.
De versterker in bedrijf stellen. Zet de schakelaar (8) in READY.Tijdens het
zenden, zo snel mogelijk de knoppen bedienen/instellen, PLATE (2), LOAD (1)
en DRIVE (12) om het maximale vermogen op de wattmeter (15) te verkrijgen.
De reeks zal meerdere keren moeten worden herhaald totdat u het maximale
uitgangsvermogen bereikt.
LET OP! Niet langer dan 2 – 3 Seconden achter elkaar zenden, daarna pauzes
van 5 – 10 seconden.
Door over te gaan naar een hoger vermogen, schakelt u met knop (4) LOW
naar HI, en schakelaar (3) HI1 naar Hi2. Controleer opnieuw de perfecte
afstelling van de versterker. Hetzelfde moet worden gedaan voor een kanaal-
of frequentiewijziging.
Om het SWR-niveau te controleren, gebruikt u de knoppen 5 en 6 bij het
aflezen van het SWR venster (14), als volgt:
Zet de schakelaar 5 in DIR. Met potentiemeter knop 6 de wijzer (14) in CAL
(kalibireren) op het einde (in rode gedeelte) zetten. 5 op REF en lees de SWR-
niveau uit op het instrument (14)
Schakel indien nodig de antennevoorversterker in;
Om dit te doen, zet u de schakelaar (9) op PRE ON (voorversterker aan).
Gebruik de potentiemeter (10) om versterking of afzwakkingniveau te
selecteren, zodat het signaal aan de ingang van de versterker de optimale
sterkte heeft. De antennevoorversterker werkt alleen als de schakelaar (8) op
READY (gereed) staat.
Op de KLV 1000 Prof. wordt de ingangsregeling van de voorversterker zo
ingesteld met de bedieningsknop (12) dat de SWR-meter zo laag mogelijk
aangeeft, liefst onder de 2.
