im Einsatz deutlich höhere G-Kräfte auftreten als beim

Zivilflug. Zum Schutz vor dem durch die starke

Kurvenbelastung von bis zur neunfachen Erdbeschleu-

nigung auftretenden Blutverlust im Kopf tragen die

Piloten spezielle Druckanzüge, auch G-Anzüge genannt.

Combat pilots are specially trained for the difficult con-

ditions they encounter when flying powerful military

aircraft, as in operation G forces are considerably higher

than in civil aircraft. To protect them from the loss of

blood from the head caused by the high stresses that

occur during banking at up to nine times acceleration

due to gravity, the pilots wear special pressure suits, also

called G suits.
