6. Usage
After assembly or adjustments and before usage make sure, that all locking knobs and levers are securely
locked, so that the device is stable and solid. Assure there is no unintended play between parts. Failure to
follow this warning can result in personal injury.
Adjusting the height of the forearm supports
- Loosen the two position locking knobs located on support columns;
- Unlock the height adjustment by pulling the height adjustment release lever up or pushing it down.
- Make adjustment to your desired height by pushing the forearm supports down or letting them move
up freely.
- Release the height adjustment lever, the height adjustment locks
- Tighten the two position locking knobs.
The height adjustment release lever works in both directions, up and down.
Correctly adjusted forearm supports should be located on the height of user’s elbows when standing with
arms directed downwards.
The device should only be used with the two position locking knobs tightened
Adjusting the width of the forearm supports
- Loosen the two position locking knobs located under the forearm supports;
- Make adjustment of the supports to your desired width by sliding them outwards or inwards;
- Tighten the two position locking knobs.
Adjusting the length and angle of the push handles
- Release the locking levers located under the push handles ,
- Make adjustment to your desired length and angle, so it is easy and comfortable to grab the handles.
- Tighten the levers.
Using the hand brakes to brake the rear wheels
- TO STOP THE WALKER simply pull the brake handles rearwards, towards the hand grip.
- TO REMAIN STATIONARY hold the brake handles in the ”REAR” position.
- TO START MOVING release the brake handles. They will automatically move back to the front
position and the brakes will be released.
Locking/unlocking the hand brakes
- To lock the brakes push the brake handles forward until you hear it ”click”
- To unlock the brakes pull the brake handles rearward until you can feel it is released.
Locking/unlocking the front wheels
- To lock the front wheel brakes press with your foot on the foot pedal located at the front wheel until it
locks.
- To unlock the brakes and directional locking lift the foot pedal with the nose of your foot until it
unlocks.
Directional locking of the front wheels (prevent from pivoting)
- If the front wheel is locked with the foot pedal it can also not pivot.
Directional locking of the rear wheels
- To lock the rear wheels press with your foot on the foot pedal located at the rear wheel until it locks.
The rear wheels will not be locked as parking brake. For that purpose the handbrakes should be used.
