Belangrijke technische informatie m.b.t. Elektromagnetische
Interferentie (EMI)
De intensiteit van interferentie door elektromagnetische energie wordt gemeten in
volt per meter (v/m), hetgeen verwijst naar de sterkte van de elektrische bron
(voltage) in relatie tot de afstand van het betreffende object (in meter). De
bestendigheid van een scooter / rolstoel tegen een bepaalde EMI-intensiteit wordt
over het algemeen het “immuniteitsniveau” genoemd. Twintig volt/meter is een
algemeen bereikbaar en bruikbaar immuniteitsniveau tegen radiobronnen (hoe
hoger het immuniteitsniveau, des te groter de bescherming).
Uw scooter werd getest en conform bevonden voor het gewenste
immuniteitsniveau tegen elektromagnetische interferentie (20 v/m): de intensiteit
van de interferentie door elektromagnetische energie.
WAARSCHUWING Zelfs bij een immuniteitsniveau van 20 volt/meter moeten
bepaalde voorzorgsmaatregelen in acht worden genomen om zeker te stellen dat
uw scooter / rolstoel geen last heeft van externe elektromagnetische bronnen.
