Wasserdichte Uhren tragen auf dem Gehäuseboden die Beschriftung
“WATER RESISTANT”. Wasserdichtigkeit bis zu 50 m oder 100 m
ist zusätzlich auf dem Ziffernblatt angegeben. Trägt Ihre Uhr
keine dieser Beschriftungen, dann ist sie nicht wasserdicht.
Wasserdicht: Diese Uhren sind so konstruiert, daß sie beim
zufälligen Kontakt mit Wasser so wie Spritzer oder Regen keinen
Schaden nehmen. Sie eignen sich jedoch nicht zum Schwimmen
oder Tauchen.
Wasserdicht (100 m/10 BAR): Diese Uhren eignen sich zum
Schwimmen und Tauchen in seichtem Wasser, nicht jedoch zum
Tiefseetauchen mit Sauerstoffgerät. Wenn die Uhr mit Salzwasser
in Berührung gekommen ist, sollte sie zunächst mit Frischwasser
abgespült und dann sorgfältig trockengerieben werden.
Bei der nassen Uhr dürfen die Tasten und die Krone nicht betätigt
werden.
Wasserdicht (50 m/5 BAR): Diese Uhren eignen sich auch
zum Schwimmen und können beim Duschen anbehalten werden.
Sie eignen sich jedoch nicht zum Tauchen. Wenn die Uhr mit
Salzwasser in Berührung gekommen ist, sollte sie zunächst mit
Frischwasser abgespült und dann sorgfältig trockengerieben werden.
Bei der nassen Uhr dürfen die Tasten und die Krone nicht betätigt
werden.
