7. Recomandăriprivindutilizareaşiîntreţinerea
• Casca trebuie vericată la intervale regulate, în privinţa unor deteriorări
vizibile.
• După o căzătură gravă, casca trebuie înlocuită, chiar dacă nu prezintă
deteriorări.
• Circulaţi numai cu chinga închisă.
• Nu este permisă aplicarea de picturi sau lipirea colajelor pe cască.
Culoarea sau adezivele aplicate pe cască pot conţine componente care
diminuează stabilitatea căştii şi, astfel, se poate reduce efectul protector
al acesteia.
• Nu este permisă efectuarea de modicări la cască. Pentru repararea căştii
se vor folosi numai piese originale.
• Casca nu trebuie expusă unor temperaturi peste 60 °C, deoarece efectul
protector al acesteia s-ar putea pierde. Vă rugăm să nu depozitaţi casca în
apropierea radiatoarelor sau s-o expuneţi radiaţiei solare, în spatele unui
geam, de ex. în maşină.
• Carcasa căştii, tampoanele de amortizare amovibile şi inelul de reglaj
precum şi chingile se pot spăla cu apă călduţă şi un săpun neagresiv.
Tampoanele de amortizare şi inelul de reglaj pot  demontate din cască.
După curăţare, componentele interioare trebuie repoziţionate cu atenţie şi
trebuie vericat dacă forma şi casca se potrivesc corect pe cap. Nu
utilizaţi pentru curăţarea căştii solvenţi, ca de ex. diluanţi sau altele
asemănătoare.
• Căştile de ciclism trebuie înlocuite după o perioadă de purtare de 5-6 ani,
deoarece datorită obosirii materialului nu mai poate  garantată o
protecţie optimă.
• Casca poate  eliminată ca deşeu menajer (resturi menajere).
