When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be

1. Read all instructions.
2. Make sure that your outlet voltage correspondent to the voltage stated on the
rating label on the underside of the appliance.

7. Do not let the cord hang over edge of the table or counter, or touch a hot
surface.
8. To disconnect, remove the plug from the wall outlet. Do not pull the cord to
remove the plug from the mains supply socket.
9. Only use this appliance for the intended use as laid out in these instructions.
10. Do not leave the coffee maker unattended while it is operating.
11. Be careful not to get scalded by steam, direct it away from hands and fingers.
12. Use handles and knobs only, accessible surfaces get hot.
13. Never use the appliance if the carafe shows any signs of cracks. Only use the
carafe supplied with this appliance. Use care, as the carafe is very fragile.
14. Never switch your coffee maker on without water in it.
15. Stand the appliance on a stable flat surface before use.
16. Do not use outdoors.
17. Always allow the appliance to cool before attaching accessories and before
cleaning.
18. This appliance is intended for domestic use only, any other use may invalidate
the warranty and might be dangerous.
19. This product is not a toy, keep out of reach of children.
