Debido a que el panel de control está cerrado por el frente de las dos
estufas puede ponerse muy caliente al tacto si se han colocado
incorrectamente las sartenes de modo que el borde inferior del sartén esté
cercano pero no tocando los botones de control.
Para prevenir la unidad de control de la hornilla de daños, el control vigila
la temperatura y se apaga, si el panel de control excede los 60ºC. Todas
las pantallas de las estufas muestran una "t", hasta que la hornilla se enfria.
Las siguientes funciones de seguridad están disponibles para evitar
operaciones inesperadas del control de la hornilla.
Sensor de Corte de Seguridad
Para prevenir al aparato de una operación no deseada y aleatoria del
sensor, se incluye un control del sensor.
En caso de que uno o más botones se presionen por más de 12 segundos,
el sensor que controla la rutina indica con un pitido dicha operación (una
olla u otro objeto colocado sobre el botón, falla del sensor, etc.) y apaga
el aparato.
El apagado de seguridad causa que la hornilla pase a modo de reposo.
Una "F" brillará en todas las pantallas de las estufas una vez antes de
cambiar a reposo.
Si hay presente calor residual, se mostrará una "H" en las pantallas de
estufa apropiadas.
