BROT- UND BUTTERPUDDING
4 Personen
Kochzeit: 30 min
Zutaten:
8 dünne Scheiben Weißbrot, ohne Kruste
4 Esslöffel Butter
½ Tasse Rosinen
2 Esslöffel brauner Zucker
2 Esslöffel weißer Zucker
2 Eier
2 Tassen Milch
1 Teelöffel Zimt
2 Teelöffel brauner Zucker zur Verzierung
Zubereitung:
Jede Brotscheibe auf einer Seite mit Butter bestreichen. 4 Scheiben Brot diagonal
in der Mitte durchschneiden. Die restlichen 4 Scheiben Brot in 4 gleiche Stück
schneiden.
Die 4 diagonal halbierten Brotscheiben gegen die Seiten einer Auaufform drücken.
Die Hälfte der übrigen Scheiben auf dem Boden der Auaufform verteilen. Die
Hälfte der Rosinen und den braunen Zucker auf dem Brot verteilen. Mit den übrigen
Brotscheiben, Rosinen und braunem Zucker eine zweite Schicht machen.
Eier, weißen Zucker und Milch zu einem glatten Teig vermischen. Dies Mischung
über dem Auauf verteilen. Mit Zimt bestreuen und 30 Minuten lang ruhen lassen.
Ofen 6 Minuten lang auf 250°C vorheizen.
Auaufform mit Alufolie bedecken. Den unteren Grillrost in die Glasschale einsetzen.
Die Temperatur auf 175°C herunterschalten. Den Auauf direkt auf den Grillrost
stellen und 30 Minuten lang backen.
Das Gebäck vor dem Servieren mit braunem Zucker besprenkeln.
