Prepare the machine as described in the "Preparation for use" paragraph. Start the machine as in

the "Instructions for use" paragraph, connect the necessary accessory and start to work. To

release steam, push the steam request button (36a) on the handle and direct it to the dirt in order

to melt it and suck it up by pushing the switch (39a) on the handle.

To move the machine, use the two handles (18) on the upper side of the body. At the end of

operations or even during the working phase, the hose can be placed on its support (21).

Apart from the two security systems (pressostat and safety valve) there is also a thermostat (which

is manually re-armable) which will intervene to protect the machine in case of any electrical

malfunction. The rearming of the thermostat can only be done by a Polti Authorised Service Centre.

The switches for the electrovalve for steam output and for the detergent pump are both low voltage

(12V).

MONDIALVAP 5000 is equipped with a steam regulator control (8). You can use this control to

increase the steam flow by turning it in an anti-clockwise direction. Turning the control in a

clockwise direction reduces the steam flow.
