SPECIFICATIONS
In order to support a wide variety of monitoring styles, this product has been designed with the
ability to swivel the ear pieces front-to-back, and rotate each earpiece housing to the outside.
Before using, however, please confirm the correct direction and degree of movement allowed,
and do not apply excessive force in the attempt to swivel, rotate, or bend the headphones in
ways not supported, since damage may result.
Before placing this product in the supplied carrying case, detach the
cable and rotate the housing to the horizontal state.
Also, this product can be stored compactly in the folded state in a
bag or the like as shown in the diagram.
The automatic-return
design restores the
headset to its
original shape.
Allows listening with
only one ear.
If you want to dispose this product, do not mix it with general household waste. There is a
separate collection system for usedelectronic products in accordance with legislation that
requires proper treatment, recovery and recycling.
Private households in the member states of the EU, in Switzerland and Norway may return their
used electronic products free of charge to designated collection facilities or to a retailer (if you
purchase a similar new one).
For countries not mentioned above, please contact your local authorities for the correct method
of disposal.
By doing so you will ensure that your disposed product undergoes the necessary treatment,
recovery and recycling and thus prevent potential negative effects on the environment and
human health.
Informational Note for Customers in EU Only:
Adjust headphones sound to the proper volume. Loud sound may damage your ears.
For traffic safety, never use the headphones while riding a bicycle, motor bike, or while
driving a car. It is dangerous to increase the sound volume too much because you cannot
hear external sounds; take great care about traffic around you.
Plug adapter out of the reach of children and infants. If accidentally swallowed, contact a
doctor immediately.
Please read through these operating Instructions so you will know how to operate your model
properly.
Never inspect the inside OR remodel this machine. If the customer remodels this machine,
Pioneer DJ will no longer guarantee its performance.
Precautions for use
Caution should be observed during use, since adjustable parts may pinch the user's hair,
depending on the way in which headphones are used.
When closing the carrying case, take care to avoid catching the cable in the zipper to prevent
damage to the wires inside the cable.
Do not subject the headphones to strong forces or impacts, since damage could occur to the
exterior appearance or product performance.
When headphones are dirty, wipe with a dry, soft cloth. Take care not to blow into the speaker
unit.
Sound quality might deteriorate or sound maybe interrupted if the plug is dirty. Keep the plug
clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth occasionally.
Ear pads may degrade over long periods of use or storage. In this event consult your dealer.
If any itching or skin discomfort occurs during use, cease use immediately.

Align the button on the mini-XLR cord plug as
shown in the illustration, and insert fully into
the housing jack. If the plug is not fully
inserted the cord may become loose.
<To detach the cable>
Press the miniXLR plug button and detach by
pulling it out in the direction of the arrow.

Caution
The 4-pole type for improved sound quality has been employed for miniXLR used with the plug
of the supplied cable and the jack of the headphones. The cable supplied with the HDJ-2000
and HDJ-2000MK2 and the separately sold HC-CA0101 cable are the 3-pole type so they
cannot be used with this product.
