• Please read these instructions carefully in

conjunction with the illustrations (pages 3, 48, 49

and 50) before using the appliance.

• If using the Philishave system for the first time,

please bear in mind that your skin may need about

two weeks to become fully accustomed to the new

shaving method.

• Regular cleaning and maintenance ensures

optimal performance and prolongs the shaver's

working life.

• Do not allow the shaver to come into contact with

water.

• Do not leave the appliance in a very warm place or

in direct sunlight.

• Before using the appliance for the first time, or if

it has not been used for a considerable time, it

should be charged once for at least 8 hours.

• If the battery is completely empty, it may take

some time (3-5 minutes) before the green pilot

light comes on.

To protect the environment, this

rechargeable Philishave appliance is equipped with a

nickel-hydride battery. This contains less than 0.01%

cadmium.

Yet we advise you to ensure that the battery is separated

from the normal household refuse and that it is disposed of

at an officially assigned place when discarding your

appliance in due course. Please refer to section

“Environment".
