Read the instructions for use and study
the illustrations before you start using
the appliance.

voltage indicated on the appliance
corresponds to the local mains voltage
(110-127 V or 220-240 V) before
connecting the appliance.
Keep the appliance away from children.
Never leave the appliance alone when it
is turned on.
Never fill the jar with ingredients that
have a temperature of over 80˚C
Avoid spilling: never fill the jar above
the maximum level indication (i.e. 1.25

After you have turned off the appliance,
wait until the knife unit has completely
stopped rotating before you take off the
jar.
Never put your hand or an object in the

necessary, use a spatula to spoon food
away from the wall of the jar, but
always turn the appliance off before
doing so!
Never detach the jar from the motor
unit when the appliance is running.
Never immerse the motor unit in water
or any other fluid, nor rinse it under the
tap.

not explicitly recommended by Philips.
Your guarantee will become invalid if

damaged. If the mains cord of this
appliance is damaged, it may only be
replaced with a cord of the original
type. Turn to your Philips dealer or the
authorised Philips service centre in
your country for replacement.
Cord storage

cord length by winding it
round the reel in the
