◗ Do not use the appliance if the plug, the cord or the appliance itself
is damaged.
Preparing the appliance for use
1 Before you connect the appliance, check whether the mains voltage
indicated on the appliance corresponds to the mains voltage in
your home.
See the type plate on the bottom of the appliance.
2 Place the appliance on a horizontal surface.
Do not put the appliance on a hot surface.
Keep the appliance out of the reach of children and make sure that
they are unable to pull at the cord.

3 Put the plug in an earthed wall socket.
You can store excess cord at the back of the appliance.
Prevent the cord from coming into contact with hot surfaces.

4 The word ‘SET’ appears on the display.

5 To set the clock: press the ‘H’ button.
The display will show 0:00 and the first digit (the hour indication) will
be blinking.

6 Adjust the blinking digit by pressing the ‘H’ button again.
To put the hours forward quickly and uninterruptedly,keep the button
pressed in until you have almost reached the correct hour.Then release
the button and set the exact hour by pressing the button briefly until
the display shows the correct hour.
