Beeld
- Hoog contrast dankzij de Philips Real Flat BlackLine-S beeld-
buis (16:9 formaat).
- 100 Hz Digital Scan, elimineert beeldflakker en trillen van
het beeld.
- Active Control, zorgt automatisch voor een optimale
instelling van Digital Noise Reduction, scherpte, contrast en
beeldformaat.
- SCAVEM (SCan VElocity Modulation) en CTI (Colour
Transient Improvement).
- DAF: Dynamic Auto Focus.
- TXT Dual Screen. Het naast elkaar weergeven van het tele-
visieprogramma en teletekst.
- Smart Picture geeft de kijker de mogelijkheid te kiezen uit
vijf voorgeprogrammeerde beeldinstellingen n.l.: Zacht,
Natuurlijk,Warm, Multimedia en Persoonlijk.
- Zes beeldformaat modi t.w. 4:3, 14:9, 16:9, Subtitle Zoom,
Super Zoom en Breedbeeld. In de stand ''Automatisch''
wordt het beeld optimaal aangepast aan de uitzending.
- OSD (On Screen Display) voor informatie op het beeld-
scherm zoals het nummer/naam van de voorkeurzender,
instelling van beeld, geluid enz.
- Het beeld kan worden stilgezet (freeze).
- Wide Screen Plus. Door het toepassen van lijninterpolatie-
technieken wordt het beeld, ook bij lineair vergroten naar
breedbeeldformaat, optimaal scherp weergegeven.
Geluid
- Stereoversterker met een totaal muziekvermogen van
40 watt.
- Stereoweergave via 2 full range luidsprekers.
- Dolby Virtual Surround maakt het mogelijk om zonder het
gebruik van achterluidsprekers toch het effect van Dolby
Surround geluid te beleven.
- Smart Sound geeft de mogelijkheid om een van de vier
voorgeprogrammeerde klankkleurinstellingen te kiezen.
Deze zijn:Theater, Muziek, Spraak en Persoonlijk.
- NICAM stereo.Voor de ontvangst van digitaal stereogeluid,
zoals b.v. uitgezonden door de VRT.
- Automatische volumebegrenzing: Beperking van het geluids-
niveau die in werking treedt zodra een maximum waarde
plotseling wordt overschreden.
- Dynamic Bass Enhancement.
- Het volume van de hoofdtelefoon is afzonderlijk regelbaar.
Teletekst
- Geheugen voor 1200 pagina's, level 2.5.
- Ook geschikt voor FLOF- en TOP-teletekst, zoals o.a.
gebruikt in resp. Engeland en Duitsland.
Bediening en afstemming
- Afstandsbediening RC2062.
- Gebruiksvriendelijke, menugestuurde installatie en bediening,
met cursor control.
- Lokale bediening boven op het toestel:Volume + en -,
Programma + en -, Menu.
- Menutaal keuze.
- Easy Link is een digitale communicatie tussen TV en video-
recorder voor o.a. het automatisch overnemen van de zen-
derprogrammering van de TV naar de videorecorder.
- Elektronisch slot (kinderslot). Hiermee wordt voorkomen
dat de TV bediend kan worden m.b.v. de toetsen op het
toestel.
- Sleeptimer, m.b.v. deze functie kan de TV automatisch wor-
den uitgeschakeld tot maximaal 180 minuten na activering.
- Easy Tune, met o.a.ACI (Automatic Channel
Installation). Hiermee is het mogelijk om de aange-
boden zenders ultrasnel, in de volgorde van het
mozaïekscherm, te programmeren.Voorwaarde is
dat het kabelnet hiervoor geschikt is.
- Weergave van NTSC signalen via SCART.
