2. Safety Instructions
WARNING
Always take the necessary safety precautions when using electric devices in order to reduce the risk of fire,

1. Do NOT use the device unless the wheel guards are installed.
2. Only use the wet wheel in wet condition to avoid damage.
3. Keep the work area clean. A cluttered work area invites injuries.
4. Do not expose the device to rain. Don't use it in a damp or wet environment. Keep the work area well lit. Don't
use the device in the vicinity of presence of flammable liquids or gases.
5. Do not let visitors touch the tool or the extension cord. Keep all visitors away from the device, especially
children.
6. When not in use the device should be stored in a dry environment that is inaccessible to children.
7. Do not force the device. It will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was intended.
8. Use the right device. Do not use a light device for a heavy-duty job. Only use the device for its intended
purpose.
9. Wear the right clothes. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery as they can get caught in moving parts. Rubber
gloves and non-skid footwear are recommended when working outdoors. Wear protective headgear if you have
long hair.
10. Wear safety glasses and also wear a face mask when working in a dusty environment.
11. Do not overreach. Be careful not to lose your footing and don't lose your balance!
12. Maintain the device to ensure better performance. Follow the instructions with reference to lubrication and the
replacement of accessories. Inspect the cables periodically and have them replaced if they are damaged. Keep
all handles dry, clean and free from oil and grease.
13. Always make sure all adjusting keys and spanners have been removed before the device is switched on.
14. Don't carry the device around with your finger on the switch in order to avoid accidental starting.
15. Use common sense. Watch what you're doing and don't operate the device when you're tired.
16. If a part is damaged, you should check carefully whether the device will still operate properly. Check the
alignment of moving parts, the installation of the device and all other elements that may affect its operation.
Damaged guards should be repaired or replaced by qualified personnel. Have defective switches replaced by
authorised personnel. Do not use the device if the switch doesn't turn it on and off.

18. Replacement parts must always be identical to the original ones.
