INSTALLATION
Mounting
Determine the position of the motor unit in relation to the hob and
mark the securing holes.
Drill the securing holes prior to fitting the motor unit to the ceiling.
Fit the pegs and first of all screw two screws into the pegs (do not
tighten completely). Hook the motor unit behind the two screws
which are already in place (fig. 1). Centre the motor unit in relation
to the hob. Ensure that the motor unit is aligned in relation to the
hob as it hangs from the ceiling.
Screw the motor unit tight with the two remaining screws and then
with the two screws which are already in position (fig. 2).
Connect the plug to the power point on the wall.
• Take care! Disconnect the wall power point from the power supply
before making the electrical connection.
Fit the waste pipe onto the motor unit.
Screw the uppermost telescopic channel to the motor unit with 4
screws.
Push the lowest telescopic channel carefully over the uppermost
telescopic channel in the highest position. Loosen two screws
somewhat and allow the lowest telescopic channel to rest here (fig. 3).
First of all hook the cooker hood onto 1 side of the motor unit (fig. 4).
Push the cooker hood upwards and then hook it onto the other side
of the motor unit.
Push the cooker hood carefully up to the desired height.
Screw the cooker hood tightly to the motor unit with the two screws
(fig. 5)! Take care; this securing is absolutely essential for
correct fitting!
Connect the cooker hood onto the motor unit with the plug
connections. Remove the cover (click it off) from the terminal box
and fit the plug connection into the terminal box.
Fasten the cabling in such a way (with a cable tie) that it does not
rest on the fat filters. (fig. 6).
Tighten the screws of the uppermost telescopic shaft and then
carefully allow the lowest telescopic shaft to drop onto the cooker
hood.
Check that the cooker hood is working correctly.
