1-CHANNEL BLINDS/SHUTTERS ACTUATOR OR
2-CHANNELS SWITCHING ACTUATOR
TECHNICAL DATA
DESCRIPTION
Wireless actuator for switching or controlling blinds/shutters compatible with the KNX-RF
Standard.
It has 2 output channels which allow to control one blind/shutter or to use them as a two
channels switching (ON/OFF) actuator.
It has 2 auxiliary inputs which allow to control also by two wired conventional pushbuttons.
MOUNTING AND INSTALLATION
A. Mounting:
• Place the actuator with the antenna as far away as possible from wires or metallic
surfaces.
• Move away the actuator from attenuations or interferences, for example from metallic
surfaces or other radio-frequency devices.
B. INSTALLATION:
Important: Switch off the power supply when installing!
B.1.– Wiring as 1-channel blinds/shutters actuator:
To roll up or down a blind, follow the wiring diagram of Fig 1.
Allows the connection of 2 wired buttons (P1 and P2), which permit the possibility of
controlling the load with two wired pushbuttons.
B.2.– Wiring as 2-channels switching actuator:
To control the switching ON and OFF of two diferent loads follow the wiring diagram of Fig 2.
Allows the connection of 2 wired buttons (P1 and P2), which permit the possibility of
controlling the load with two wired pushbuttons.
COMMISSIONING
• Programming selector switch:
P1: Programming Output 1 ‘R1’ (’Double Switch’ mode) or Blinds/Shutters actuator
(’Blinds control’mode).
P2: Programming Output 2 ‘R2’ (’Double Switch’ mode) or Blinds/Shutters actuator
(’Blinds control’ mode).
F: Standard working mode without Repeating function.
Rpt.: Standard working mode with Repeating function.
Rst.: Reset.
• Working mode selector switch:
1: ‘Blinds control’ mode.
2: ‘Double Switch’ mode.
Important: Changing operation mode lasts for ~ 10sec and involves the internal Reset of
the device.
• Programming LED key: links or deletes a sensor or actuator.
Programming a link between 674 730 rf (input channel) and a RF Sensor
To program a link between the input channel of the 674730rf and a RF transmitter device
(key, remote control, motion detector, touch screen ...):
1.- Turn the programming switch to position 'P1' or 'P2’:
• P1: to link the Load 1 in ‘Double Switch’ operating mode.
• P2: to link the Load 2 in ‘Double Switch’ operating mode.
• P1 or P2: to link the loads in ‘Blind control’ operating mode.
The green LED of the ‘Prog’ key will flicker slowly.
2.- Press briefly the ‘Prog’ key. The green programming LED must light up constantly.
3.- Set the RF sensor wich is going to be linked with the 674730rf in ‘link programming
mode’ according to its manual instructions.
4.- If the link is successful the green LED of the ‘Prog’ key will flicker slowly again. In this
case, place the programming selector switch to ‘F’.
If the link fails, the LED will remain constantly ON. In this case, place the selector switch
to ‘F’ and repeat all the process from step 1.

Programming a link between 674730rf (output channel) and a RF Actuator
To program a link between the output channel of the 674730rf and a RF actuator:
1.- Set the RF actuator in ‘link programming mode’.
2.- Turn the programming switch to position 'P1' or 'P2’:
• P1: to link the Output channel RF1 in ‘Double Switch’ operating mode.
• P2: to link the Output channel RF2 in ‘Double Switch’ operating mode.
• P1 or P2: to link the loads in ‘Blind control’ operating mode.
The green LED of the ‘Prog’ key will flicker slowly.
3.- Press briefly the ‘Prog’ key. The green programming LED will continue flickering.
4.- If the link is successful the green LED of the ‘Prog’ key will continue flickering slowly. In
this case, place the programming selector switch to ‘F’.
If the link fails, the green LED will remain constantly ON. In this case, place the selector
switch to ‘F’ an repeat all the process from step 1.
Reset. Delete all links
1.- Turn the programming selector switch to ‘Rst.’. The red LED of the ‘Prog.’ key will flicker
quickly.
2.- Keep pressing the ‘Prog.’ key for more than 5sec. After this time the red LED will remain
ON for 2sec and then it will flicker quickly again.
3.- Place the programming selector switch to ‘F’.
Enabling / Disabling the Repeating function
The repeater function can be used in installations where are communication problems
between RF devices.
The 674730rf must be installed in a location that provides cover for most part or all of the
installation RF devices.
To enable this function, place the programming selector to position 'Rpt.'.
Important: It is not recommended the use of more than two repeaters in a same installation.
Also, it is not recommended to use it unless necessary.
