Om de UVI te meten:
1. Druk UV. De sensor zal nu gedurende 4 seconden
meten. Draai het apparaat 360
o
terwijl de sensor meet
om een nauwkeuriger uitslag te krijgen.
2. Tenzij een blootstellingstimer loopt, zullen gedurende
deze tijd achtereenvolgens huidtype en BF worden
weergegeven.
3. UV index, UV-niveau en blootstellingstimers worden
automatisch aangepast.
NB
• Als geen timer is ingesteld gaat het scherm uit na 30 minuten.
UV-BLOOTSTELLINGSTIMER
Na de UV-meting in UV-modus, berekent de monitor de
aanbevolen maximale blootstellingstijd voor de door het
gebruiker ingestelde huidtype en BF.
NB
• Stel uw huidtype in alvorens de blootstellingstimer
te gebruiken. Als u het huidtype of de BF verandert,
wordt de blootstellingstijd automatisch aangepast.
• De monitor meet elke 10 minuten automatisch het
UV-niveau wanneer de timer aan staat. Als de UV-
index omhoog gaat zal de timer automatisch worden
bijgesteld om de nieuwe niveaus te compenseren.
BELANGRIJK De berekende blootstellingstijd is slechts
een aanbeveling.
UV-BLOOTSTELLINGSTIMER
Om een UV-timer te starten:
1. Nadat de blootstellingstijd is berekend, drukt u
START / STOP om de timer te starten.
2. Om de timer te pauzeren, drukt u START / STOP.
3. Druk nogmaals op START / STOP om te hervatten
of CLEAR om de timer te stoppen.
4. Wanneer de timer het einde bereikt zal een alarm
afgaan.
Om het alarm uit te zetten:
Druk een willekeurige knop.
NB
• Druk UV tijdens het aftellen om handmatig een UV-
meting te starten. De timer zal de blootstellingstijd
automatisch aanpassen.
• Na het pauzeren en herstarten van de timer, drukt u
op UV om te zorgen dat de timer nauwkeurig blijft.
HANDMATIGE TIMER
Om de timer in te stellen:
1. Houd in timermodus MODE / SET ingedrukt.
2. Gebruik UP en DOWN om de uren en minuten te
kiezen.
3. Druk op MODE / SET om te bevestigen.
Om de handmatige timer te starten:
1. Druk op MODE / SET om timermodus te kiezen.
2. Druk op START / STOP om de timer te starten.
3. Om de timer te pauzeren, drukt u START / STOP.
4. Druk nogmaals op START / STOP om te hervatten
of CLEAR om de timer te stoppen.
5. Wanneer de timer het einde bereikt zal een alarm
afgaan.
