A LEARNING
Y our One For A ll remote contr ol can learn any function from any other working remote
control. This is a quick and easy one-time setup that will allow you to control one or more
of your home entertainment devices, and even c ombine multiple devices in one easy to
use remote contr ol – for example you c ould teach the volume keys to c ontrol your Sound
Bar , the TV Power and A V keys to control y our T V , and the rest of the keys to control your
Set T op Box (Satellite, C able or Fr eeview Receiver).
T o do this, rstly make sure y ou have all y our original remote contr ols to hand, and
that they have w orking batteries in. T o learn functions, the original remote should be
approximat ely 3cm from the OF A remote , pointing towar ds it as shown below:
1. Hold down A V and Exit until the red LED blinks twice.
2. Press and r elease the key you want to learn a function onto (f or
example the TV Power key) – The red LED will blink continuously .
3. Press and r elease* the corresponding key on the original remot e,
for example P ower .
4. The red LED will blink twice to indicate the key has been learned
correctly .
5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each key you w ant to learn – remember
you can learn from multiple remot es, but only one function per key .
6. When you learned all the functions you require , press and hold the
OK key until the red LED blinks twice.
Hints
• If the red LED shows one long blink at step 4, the function was not learned correctly ,
please try again from step 2.
• If you nd one or more keys don ’t work properly after set up, y ou can re- enter the
learning mode at any time by repea ting the procedure fr om step 1.
• T o delete a learned function, hold down Guide and Menu until the red LED blinks
twice, and press the key to delete twice .
• If one or more of your original remotes ar en ’t working, you can still set up the One F or
All remote by SimpleSet (B) or Code Set Up ( C).
* Some remotes send commands di erently. If you nd a function cannot be learned, tr y holding down the key on
the original remote instead of pressing and r eleasing.
B SIMPLESET
T o set up your device:
1. T ur n on your device (not on standby) and point the OF A r emote towar ds it.
2. T o set up:

3. Hold down the digit for y our brand and device as listed left (e.g . 6 for Samsung T V ).
4. The remote will send P ower every 3 seconds until your device switches o .
5. As soon as your device switches o , release the digit.
6. The red LED will blink twice and the remote should no w operate your devic e.
• If you nd one or more keys do not work as you expect, start again at step 2 – the
remote will start with the next code in the memor y .
• If you set up a Set T op Box and then an Audio device , to turn the Audio device back on
hold the STB Po wer key for 3 seconds – the key will send STB P ower and then Audio
Po w e r.
C SET U P BY CO DE
If your brand is not listed in section B, you can set up your devic e by trying codes
individually . T o do this:
1. T ur n on your device (not on standby).
2. Locate the brand of y our device in the code list (pages 77 - 93). Codes ar e listed by
Device T ype and Brand.
3. T o set up:

4. Enter the rst 4 digit code listed for your brand (e .g. 0556 f or Bennett).
5. The red LED will blink twice.
6. Now aim the remote to wards your devic e and press the P ower (or Mute*) key .
7. If the device turns o (or mutes*), your remot e is ready to use. If not, repea t steps 3-6
with the next code in the list.
* If you have already set up a Set Top Bo x and you are setting up Audio as well , please try the Mute key during step 6.
If the brand of your device is not listed and you cannot learn fr om the original remote,
please proceed to section C – Set Up By Code

single remote.

Y our One For A ll Zapper+ can operate up to three devic es. If you only set up one device , all
keys will operate that device .
If you set a T V and Set T op Box, most keys will operate the Set T op Box, with the exception
of the T V Pow er Key , the V olume Up, Do wn and Mute, and the A V key.
If you set up a T V , Set T op Box and an Audio devic e such as a sound bar , the V olume Up,
Down and Mute keys will contr ol your Audio device . Also if you hold down the Set T op Box
Po wer key for three sec onds it will rst send Power f or the Set T op Box, and then for the
Audio Device.
As the A V key is intended to select the input on your T V and most T Vs use a menu to select
from a list of inputs, when the A V key is pressed and a T V and STB are set up , the Menu Up,
Down, Left, Right and OK keys temporarily contr ol the TV. If the OK key is pressed , or no
key is pressed for ten sec onds, these keys will rev ert to controlling your Set T op B ox.
