Die gewünschten Informationen (Tachymeter; Pulsometer) wer-
den anhand des Chronographenzeigers auf der entsprechenden
Skala über eine Dauer von maximal 60 Sekunden abgelesen. Für
Entfernungsmessungen kann auch der Minutenzähler mit einbe-
zogen werden. In diesem Fall werden für jede abgelaufene Minute
20 km zur angezeigten Entfernung hinzugefügt.
Einsatz der Tachymeterskala
Beispiel: Messung der Geschwindigkeit
eines Fahrzeugs.
Messen Sie die Zeit, in der das
Fahrzeug 1 Kilometer zurücklegt.
Die Geschwindigkeit kann nun über
den Chronographenzeiger auf der
Tachymeterskala abgelesen werden. In
diesem Beispiel beträgt sie 120 km/h.
Einsatz der Pulsometerskala
Beispiel: Messung der Pulsschläge pro
Minute.
Den Chronographen starten. Die auf der
Skala vermerkte Zahl an Pulsschlägen
zählen und den Chronographen beim
letzten Schlag stoppen (hier: beim 30.
Schlag). Die Zahl der Pulsschläge pro
Minute wird auf der Pulsometerskala
abgelesen. In diesem Beispiel sind es
60 Schläge/Minute.
