Thank you for purchasing the OLYMPUS Li-ion Battery (BLM-1/
BLS-1). To ensure your safety, please read this instruction manual
before use, and keep it handy for future reference.
DANGER
Be sure to use the dedicated BCM/BCS series bat-
tery charger to recharge the battery.
Do not short-circuit the battery terminals with a
metallic object. When carrying or storing the battery,
make sure that the
, and terminals are not
short-circuited.
Never throw the battery into a fire or put it near a fire.
Do not use, charge or store the battery where it may
be exposed to high temperatures. For example, do
not leave it on the dashboard of a car under direct
sunlight or place it near heating equipment.
Never solder the battery or attempt to repair, deform,
modify or disassemble it.
If battery fluid gets in your eyes, blindness may re-
sult. Rinse your eyes with clean water without rubbing
them and see a doctor immediately.
WARNING
To avoid fire, overheating, explosion or leakage, do
not subject the battery to excessive shock, throw it, or
otherwise damage it.
If you notice any abnormalities such as leakage,
discoloration, deformation, overheating, or odor, re-
move the battery from the camera or battery charger
immediately and stop using the equipment.
Never expose the battery to water or moisture includ-
ing rain, seawater and animal urine. Do not charge or
use a wet battery.
If fluid from inside the battery sticks to your skin or
clothes, it may cause injury. Wash it off immediately
with clean water and see a doctor.
If charging does not complete in the specified charge
time, stop charging to prevent fire, overheating or
explosion.
Keep the battery out of reach of children. Should a
child swallow a battery, see a doctor immediately.
CAUTION
The BLM-1/BLS-1 Li-ion battery is designed only for
use with those cameras for which it is specified. Do
not use it with any other equipment.
The battery gets hot after extended use in a camera.
To prevent burns, do not remove the battery from the
camera immediately after use.

excessifs, la jeter ni lui faire subir d'autres traitements qui
pourraient l'endommager.
Si vous constatez une anomalie telle que écoulement,
décoloration, déformation, surchauffe ou odeur, retirer im-
médiatement la batterie de l'appareil photo ou du chargeur
de batterie et arrêter d'utiliser le matériel.
Ne jamais exposer la batterie à l'eau ou à l'humidité
comme la pluie, l'eau de mer ou l'urine. Ne pas recharger
ni utiliser une batterie mouillée.
Si du liquide de la batterie vient sur votre peau ou sur
vos vêtements, il risque de causer des blessures. Rincer
immédiatement avec de l'eau claire et voir un médecin.
Si la recharge n’est pas complète au bout de la durée
de recharge spécifiée, arrêter la recharge pour éviter un
incendie, une surchauffe ou une explosion.

une batterie.
ATTENTION
La batterie Li-ion BLM-1/BLS-1 est conçue uniquement

Wir bedanken uns für den Kauf dieses OLYMPUS Lithiumionen-Akkus
(BLM-1/BLS-1). Um den sachgemäßen und sicheren Gebrauch des Akkus
sicherzustellen, empfehlen wir Ihnen, diese Anleitung sorgfältig zu lesen
und zur späteren Bezugnahme aufzubewahren.
GEFAHR
Zum Laden der Batterie darf ausschließlich das speziell ge-
eignete Ladegerät der BCM/BCS-Serie verwendet werden.
Niemals die Kontakte (Plus- und Minuspol) des Akkus
kurzschließen. Beim Transportieren oder bei der Aufbe-
wahrung des Akkus darauf achten, dass die Kontakte ,
und nicht kurz geschlossen werden.
Den Akku niemals in offenes Feuer werfen oder in der
Nähe von offenem Feuer aufbewahren.
Den Akku niemals an Orten verwenden, aufladen oder auf-
bewahren, an denen hohe Temperaturen auftreten können
(z. B. auf einem Armaturenbrett in einem geschlossenem
Fahrzeug bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung oder unmittel-
bar neben einer Heizquelle).
Niemals versuchen, den Akku zu verlöten, reparieren, in
der Form zu verändern, umzubauen oder zu zerlegen!
Falls Akkuflüssigkeit mit den Augen in Berührung kommt,
besteht Erblindungsgefahr! Die Augen sofort mit klarem
Wasser ausspülen. Hierbei die Augen nicht reiben! Unver-
züglich einen Arzt/Notarzt rufen.
ACHTUNG
Zur Vermeidung von Feuer, Überhitzung, Explosion oder
Auslaufen von Flüssigkeit den Akku niemals heftigen
Erschütterungen, hoher Gewichtsbelastung oder sonstigen
schädlichen Einwirkungen aussetzen.
Falls Sie Störungen wie Auslaufen von Flüssigkeit, Ver-
färbungen, Verformungen, Überhitzung oder Geruchsent-
wicklung feststellen, muss der Akku sofort aus der Kamera
oder dem Ladegerät entnommen werden. Das betroffene
Gerät darf hierauf nicht weiter verwendet werden.
Den Akku niemals Nässe oder Feuchtigkeit (Regen,
Salzwasser, sonstige Flüssigkeiten etc.) aussetzen. Ein
feuchter oder nasser Akku darf in keinem Fall verwendet
oder aufgeladen werden!
Falls ausgelaufene Flüssigkeit auf die Haut oder Kleidung
gelangt, besteht Verletzungsgefahr. Die betroffenen Stellen
mit klarem Wasser reinigen. Wenden Sie sich an einen Arzt.
Falls der Ladevorgang innerhalb der vorgeschrieben
Zeit nicht vollständig durchgeführt wurde, muss der
Ladebetrieb abgebrochen werden. Andernfalls besteht
Überhitzungs- mit Feuer- und/oder Explosionsgefahr!
Den Akku stets vor dem Zugriff von Kindern schützen.
Falls ein Akku verschluckt wird, unverzüglich einen
Arzt/Notarzt rufen.
VORSICHT
Der Lithiumionen-Akku BLM-1/BLS-1 darf ausschließlich
für eine geeignete Kamera verwendet werden. Die Ver-
wendung in anderen Geräten ist nicht zulässig.
Der Akku kann sich nach längerem Gebrauch in der Kame-
ra erwärmen. Daher sollte der Akku nicht unmittelbar nach
längerem Gebrauch entnommen werden, um Verbren-
nungen zu vermeiden.
VORSICHTSMASSREGELN FÜR DEN GEBRAUCH
Bitte lesen Sie sich den Abschnitt „Akku und Ladegerät“ im Handbuch der
Kamera durch.
AKKU-RECYCLING
Bitte achten Sie auf eine ordnungsgemäße Entsorgung
von BLM-1/BLS-1 Akkus. Ehe Sie verbrauchte Akkus
entsorgen, decken Sie die Akkukontakte

PELIGRO

ADVERTENCIA
Evite el fuego, sobrecalentamiento, explosión o fugas, no

Si observa anormalidades tales como fuga del electrólito,
descoloración, deformación, sobrecalentamiento u olor,
