- Verplaats de friteuse nooit tijdens het gebruik. De olie wordt heet en u kunt zich eraan branden.

Wacht met verplaatsen totdat de olie afgekoeld is.

- Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water.

- Laat het apparaat tijdens het gebruik nooit onbeheerd achter. Let extra goed op als de friteuse

gebruikt wordt in de nabijheid van kinderen.

- Niet gebruiken als het apparaat of het snoer beschadigd is. Stuur het voor de zekerheid naar

onze servicedienst. Bij dit type apparaat kan een beschadigd snoer alleen met behulp van

speciaal gereedschap door onze servicedienst worden vervangen.

- Zorg dat de dunne leidingen die langs het verwarmingselement lopen niet beschadigen (niet

deuken of buigen).

- Het elektrische deel is voorzien van een veiligheidsschakelaar die er voor zorgt dat het

verwarmingselement alleen werkt als het element goed op de pan geplaatst is.

- Zorg ervoor dat kinderen niet met dit apparaat spelen.

- Het is niet zonder gevaar om dit apparaat te laten

gebruiken door kinderen of personen met een geeste-

lijke of lichamelijke handicap, of met te weinig ervaring

of deskundigheid. De voor de veiligheid van deze

gebruikers verantwoordelijke persoon dient ze duidelijke

instructies te geven voor of ze te begeleiden bij het

gebruik van dit apparaat.

Bij oververhitting wordt de pan dankzij de thermi-

sche beveiliging automatisch uitgeschakeld. U kunt

de pan echter zelf weer inschakelen. Haal hiertoe

eerst de stekker uit het stopcontact. Druk vervolgens

met het bijgeleverde herstartpinnetje of een ander

lang puntig voorwerp op het inschakelknopje. Dit

bevindt zich aan de achterzijde van het elektrische

gedeelte, verzonken in een gaatje.

appliance to an earthed socket.

Before use, remove the packaging and wash the accessories and pan in warm water. Dry well

before using. Ensure that all electrical parts remain completely dry.

The Nova fryer comes complete with adjustable thermostat and indicator lights. The red light

indicates that the appliance is connected. As soon as the green light goes off the set temperature

has been reached. The 'open' frying system means you get the same professional results

you'd expect from a restaurant and also makes cleaning a breeze.

OPERATING THE FRYER

This type of fryer is only suitable for use with oil or liquid fat, and not for solid fat. Using

solid fat entails the risk of trapping water in the fat which will cause it to spatter violently

when heated up. Also ensure that the oil/fat is not contaminated with water, for example

from frozen products, as this will cause excessive spattering.

- Never use the fryer without oil or fat as this will damage the appliance. Never pour any other

liquids, such as water, into the pan.

- Place the fryer on a dry, sturdy surface. As the fryer heats up during cooking, make sure it is

not too close to any other objects.

- Open the lid of the fryer.

- Fill the appliance with the required amount of oil or fat. Ensure that the appliance is filled at

least to the minimum level and not higher than the maximum

level, as indicated on the inside of the fryer. For optimal results,

we advise against mixing different types of oil.
