Wegwerpen van opslagmedia
Houd er rekening mee dat de oorspronkelijke beeldgegevens niet volledig worden verwijderd als u
beelden wist of geheugenkaarten of andere opslagmedia formatteert. Met behulp van in de handel
verkrijgbare software is het soms mogelijk verwijderde bestanden op weggeworpen opslagmedia
alsnog te herstellen, wat misbruik van persoonlijke beeldgegevens tot gevolg kan hebben. De
gebruiker is zelf verantwoordelijk voor de privacybescherming van dergelijke gegevens.
Wis alle gegevens met behulp van speciale software alvorens een opslagmedium weg te werpen of
aan een ander over te dragen. Een alternatief is het medium eerst te formatteren en vervolgens
geheel te vullen met beelden zonder persoonlijke informatie (bijvoorbeeld foto’s van de lucht).
Vergeet niet eventuele foto’s te wissen die zijn geselecteerd met handmatige voorinstelling
(0 121). Voorkom letsel bij het fysiek vernietigen van opslagmedia.
