De D4S ondersteunt nu ook optionele SB-500 itsers. Persoonlijke instelling e3
(Optionele fl itser) beschikt over de optie Commanderstand zodra een SB-500 is
bevestigd.
Commanderstand
Gebruik een op de camera gemonteerde SB-500 als hoofd itser, die één of meer
secundaire optionele itsers in maximaal twee groepen (A en B) bestuurd via
Geavanceerde draadloze itssturing.
Het selecteren van Commanderstand geeft het
rechts getoonde menu weer. Druk op

Flitscorrectie
De fl itscorrectiewaarde, geselecteerd voor de
M
-knop en secundaire instelschijf, wordt
toegevoegd aan de fl itscorrectiewaarde geselecteerd voor de hoofdfl itser (Option.
fl itser ), groep A en groep B in het menu Commanderstand. In het bedieningspaneel
en de zoeker wordt een
Y
-pictogram weergegeven als een andere fl itscorrectiewaarde
dan ±0 is geselecteerd voor Option. fl itser > DDL. Het
Y
-pictogram knippert
wanneer de hoofdfl itser in stand M staat.

Commanderstand
Positioneer de sensorvensters op de secundaire fl itsers om het licht van de hoofdfl itser
over te nemen (wees voorzichtig als de camera niet op een statief is bevestigd). Let op
dat direct licht of sterke refl ecties van de secundaire fl itsers niet de cameralens (in DDL-
stand) of de fotocellen op de secundaire fl itsers (AA-stand) binnendringen, aangezien dit
de belichting kan verstoren, zelfs wanneer – – is geselecteerd voor Option. fl itser. Kies,
om te voorkomen dat timingfl itsen afgegeven door de hoofdfl itser, in foto’s verschijnen
die op korte afstand zijn gemaakt, lage ISO-gevoeligheden of kleine diafragma’s (hoge
f-waarden). Maak, na het positioneren van de secundaire fl itsers, een testopname en
bekijk de resultaten in de cameramonitor.
Hoewel er geen limiet geldt voor het aantal secundaire fl itsers dat kan worden gebruikt,
is drie het praktische maximumaantal. Bij het gebruik van meer dan drie fl itsers kan het
licht, afgegeven door de secundaire fl itsers, de prestaties verstoren.
