Refer all servicing to qualified servicing personnel. Servicing is
required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such
as the power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquids are spilled
or items fall into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed
to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
(Specific to the battery charger)
• The robot vacuum cleaner must only be charged using
the included charge base and only be operated usingthe
included batteries. Do not replace with non-rechargeable
batteries. Replacement batteries can be purchased
at http://www.neatorobotics.com/product-category/
parts-accessories.
• Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched,
particularly the plug, quick-insertion receptacle, and the
point where the cord exits from the apparatus.
• The AC wall outlet should be near to the unit and be
easily accessible.
• Only use attachments or accessories approved by the
manufacturer, Neato Robotics, Inc.
• Do not disable the safety features of the polarized or
grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades
with one wider than the other.
• National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, specifically for
the installation of wiring and clearances from power and
lighting conductors
• The charge base should only be used with a Type SPT-2
or equivalent power cord with a diameter of at least
0.5mm
2
and no longer than 2 meters. The power cord
must comply with the requirements of the country of use.
• Do not install or use the Charge base within 10 feet of a pool.
• Do not use the charge base in a bathroom.
• KEEP IT AWAY FROM WATER, CHEMICALS, OR OTHER
MOULD PRODUCING FLUIDS. Do not clean wet spills
with your Neato Vacuum. Though it may seem pet-like,
do not bathe or otherwise submerge your Neato Vacuum
in water. It also doesn’t like harsh chemicals, or anything
that can permanently stain it. It doesn’t mind being
cleaned and groomed with a damp cloth, however.
• KEEP IT AWAY FROM HANGING CABLES AND LOW TO
THE GROUND TABLECLOTHS. To keep your robot and
your home safe, make sure that your vacuum cannot get
caught on tablecloths, curtains, hanging electric cords, or
other cord-like items.
• DON’T LET IT GET COLD. Exposing your Neato Robotics
vacuum to freezing temperatures may cause permanent
damage, and possibly hurt its feelings.
• DON’T LET IT GO OUTSIDE. Your Neato vacuum is a
domestic device and is not intended for outdoor use.
