Using the Car Charger
Do not use the power adapter or car charger in a high moisture environment. Never touch
the adapter when your hands or feet are wet.
Allow adequate ventilation around the adapter when using it to operate the device or
charge the battery. Do not cover the AC adapter with paper or other objects that will reduce
cooling. Do not use the AC adapter while it is inside a carrying case.
Connect the adapter to a proper power source. The voltage requirements are found on the
product case and/or packaging.
Do not use the adapter if the cord becomes damaged.
Do not attempt to open, repair or service the device yourself. There are no serviceable
parts inside. Replace the unit if it is damaged or exposed to excess moisture.
Never force a connector into a port. If the connector and port cannot be connected with
reasonable ease, they probably don’t match. Make sure that the connector matches the
port and that you have positioned the connector correctly in relation to the port.
When removing the connector from the port remove it by pulling on the connector, not the
cable. Do not place furniture, etc. on the power cord and take care that it does not
become tangled. Never make a knot in the power cord and do not tie it together with other
cables. The power cord should be positioned in such a way that nobody can stand on it. A
damaged power cord can cause fire or electric shock. Check the power cord from time to
time. If it is damaged, contact your nearest authorised customer service or dealer to
replace it. Make sure at least one end of the power cord is within easy reach so that you
can unplug the device when you need to.
