3.Wake up to the radio
-Press the ALM.1/M- or ALM.2/M+ button (4) to select RADIO
mode, “ ” or “ ” will appear on the display.
-Follow the procedure in “LISTENING TO THE RADIO” to select
your desired radio station.
-Press the STANDBY button (1) to turn off the unit. The radio
will turn on automatically when the alarm time is reached.
2.Wake up to iPhone / iPod
-Press the ALM.1/M- or ALM.2/M+ button (4) to iPnone / iPod
mode, “ ” or “ ” will appear on the display.
-Follow the procedure in “PLAY YOUR DOCKABLE iPhone / iPod”.
-Press the STANDBY button (1) to turn off the unit. The
iPhone will start playing automatically when the alarm time is
reached.
Using the AC adaptor
This AC/DC adaptor operates on AC 230V ~ 50Hz.
The supplied AC/DC adaptor is suitable for use on AC mains supplies of 230V~50Hz
and should only be connected to a mains supply within these parameters.
Cautions:
- The included AC/DC adaptor is for use with this unit only. Do not use it with other
equipments.
- When the unit is not going to be used for long time, disconnect the AC adaptor from the
AC outlet.
- Be sure to use it near the wall outlet. If a malfunction occurs, disconnect the plug from
the wall outlet at once.
- When the AC/DC adaptor is plugged in, the apparatus is not completely disconnected
from the main power source, even when the unit is turned off.
- AC/DC adaptor is used as the disconnect device. It shall remain readily operable and
should not be obstructed during intended use. To disconnect the apparatus from supply
mains, completely disconnect the AC/DC adaptor of the apparatus from the mains socket
outlet

BASIC OPERATION
Turn on the unit
The unit is in clock mode when it is plugged in, Press STANDBY button (1) to turn on
or turn off the unit.
Operating mode selection (FUNCTION)
Press FUNCTION button (8) repeatedly to select iPhone / iPod, AUX or Radio mode.
iPhone/iPod Playback
In iPhone / iPod mode, press button (10) once to pause playback, press again to
resume.
Sound volume
Press vol +/- buttonto adjust sound level. There are a total of 30 volume levels.
X-BASS
When listening to the radio, iPhone / iPod or other music source from AUX IN, press the
X-BASS button (7) to increase the bass sound. X-B will show in the display, press it
again to cancel the extra bass option.
Display dimmer
In standby mode, press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button (5) repeatedly will change the
backlight brightness of the display. There are 3 levels: low, medium, and high.

Current time
When used for the first time, or if the mains plug has been removed, the display will show
” 12:00”.
1.In Standby mode, Press the MEMO/SET button (2) on the unit, “ ” or “ ” blinks on
the display.
2. Press or button (9, 11) to select 12 or 24 hour format.
3.Press the MEMO/SET button (2) again, the hour digit will flash on the display, then
press the or button (9, 11) to set the current hour.
4.Press the MEMO/SET button (2) again to save the hour setting and the minute digit will
flash in the display. Then press the or button (9, 11) to set the current minute.
5. Press MEM/SET button again to complete time setting.

TIME SETTING
This unit can be set for two different wake up times which you can choose to use inde-
pendently or simultaneously ALARM1, ALARM2 or both ALARM1 and ALARM 2.
Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 setting
1.In standby mode, press and hold either the ALM.1/M- or
ALM.2/M+ button (4) for approx. 2 second and the hour digit will
flash and wait for setting wake up time.
2.Press the or button (9. 11) to adjust the hour.
3.Press the ALM.1/M- or ALM.2/M+ button (4) to save the hour
setting and the minute digits will flash.
4.Press the or button (9, 11) to adjust the minute.
5.Press the ALM.1/M- or ALM.2/M+ button (4) to save the wake up
setting of alarm 1 or alarm 2. The display will resume to indicate
the current time.
Wake up mode
After setting the alarm time, press ALM.1/M- or ALM.2/M+ button (4) repeatedly to select
the wake up mode for Alarm1 or Alarm 2 (wake up to iPhone / iPod, Radio, or Buzzer).
1.Wake up to buzzer sound
-Press the ALM.1/M- or ALM.2/M+ button (4) to buzzer mode, “ ”
or “ ” will appear on the display. “Be-be“ sound comes when the
alarm time is reached.
ALARM SETTING
SLEEP (Automatic turn off)
In sleep mode, the unit will turn off automatically after a specified time.
Note: Sleep time can only be set when the unit is turned ON.
You can select the time interval in minutes before the unit turns off automatically. Press
SLEEP button (3) repeatedly to select among 120-90-60-30-15 minutes, then release
SLEEP button (3).
Notes:
- If the playing time from your iPhone / iPod or other player is shorter than the selected
sleep time, the music will stop at the end of the playing time.

UNPACKING YOUR UNIT
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Battery (backup system)
DC power: 3V battery type AAA X 2 batteries (not provided) for clock and alarm time
backup system only.
An alkaline type battery is recommended. For optimum performance, this battery should
be replaced every 6 months.
BACKUP SYSTEM: All clock settings will be kept in the memory, however, the clock time
may require adjustment for exact accuracy. If this battery is not installed, the display will
show 12:00 to indicate that you have to redo the time and alarm settings.
Note: When the battery backup functions, the digital display will not light.
