Das Modell RR MERLIN # 26 4237 ist nahezu flugfertig vormontiert und es
entfallen für Sie zahlreiche Arbeitsschritte, die in der Bauanleitung beschrie-
ben sind. Das Modell ist somit in kürzester Zeit betriebsbereit. Lesen Sie vor
Fertigstellung und Inbetriebnahme die Anleitungen und beachten unbedingt
auch die Sicherheitshinweise und Tipps.
Um das Modell vollständig auszurüsten, ist noch ein Empfänger notwendig.

bzw. diesem Blatt und darüber hinaus (z.B. Sender, Ladegerät etc.) dem

1. Prüfen Sie mit Hilfe obenstehender Stückliste den Inhalt auf
Vollständigkeit.
2. Empfängereinbau ==> Ausbau zum Powersegler, Punkt 7.2 in der
Bauanleitung ==> Abb. 24
3. Höhenleitwerk montieren, Punkt 4. in der Bauanleitung ==> Abb.18
Achtung: Die Leitwerke werden nicht verklebt und bleiben zum Trans-
port teilbar! Zur Demontage drücken Sie die mit X gekennzeichnete Stelle
um die Arretierung zu lösen.
4. Zusammenbau von Tragflächen und Rumpf
Punkt 6. in der Bauanleitung ==> Abb.22
Achtung: Flügel werden nicht verklebt und bleiben zum Transport teilbar!
5. Flugakku einbauen ==> Abb.24
6. Inbetriebnahme des Antriebs ==> Tuning mit Luftschraube 8x5”

7. Dekorbogen ausschneiden und aufkleben

der und Anlenkungen sowie den Antrieb und die Akkus.
The RR MERLIN model aircraft, # 26 4237, is supplied factory-assembled and
almost completely ready to fly. Many of the stages of construction described
in the building instructions have already been completed for you, so the model
can be ready for the air in a very short time. Please read through these
instructions before you complete and fly the model, paying particular attention
to the Safety Notes and Tips.
To complete the model’s equipment you will need a receiver. Please refer to
our recommendations stated in the building instructions and this sheet. For
details of additional equipment (e.g. transmitter, battery charger etc.) we
suggest that you turn to the current Multiplex catalogue, or visit the website

1. Check that all parts are present, referring to the Parts List.
2. Receiver installation ==> Power-glider version, Point 7.2 in the
building instructions ==> Fig. 24
3. Completing the tailplane, Point 4. in the building instructions ==>
Fig. 18 Caution: the tailplane panels are not glued in place, and can
be separated for ease of transport. To remove them, disengage the
latch by pressing the point marked X.
4. Joining the wings and fuselage
Point 6. in the building instructions ==> Fig. 22 Caution: the wings are not
glued in place, and can be separated for ease of transport.
5. Installing the flight battery ==> Fig. 24
6. Using the power system for the first time ==> Tuning version with
8 x 5" propeller. See instructions for the "Merlin-TUNING" power set and
the speed controller instructions.
7. Cut out the decals from the decal sheet and apply them to the
model.
8. Rudder servo cover Point 8. in the building instructions ==> Fig. 25
9. Set the control surface travels and Centre of Gravity, Point 7.3. in
the building instructions; Longitudinal dihedral + CG ==> Fig. 27
10. First flight - section starting at Point 11. in the building instructions
Before each flight test all the working systems on your model; check the
control surfaces and linkages, also the power system and batteries.
