IF YOUR FRYER DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY
PROBLEMS CAUSES SOLUTIONS
The fryer is not heating The appliance is not plugged in.
The cooking temperature is not
set.
Plug-in the appliance.
Set the thermostat control to the
required temperature.
Excessive odour. The oil has deteriorated.
The fat is not appropriate for this
type of cooking.
Change the oil or fat.
Use good quality oil or fat. Do not
mix oils or fats of different types.
Steam is escaping from
under the lid.
The lid is not closed properly.
The fryer has been filled beyond
the max level.
Ensure the lid is correctly closed.
Check oil level inside the bowl.
Oil overflows. Food overloaded with ice/water
plunged into hot oil.
Recommended quantities have
been exceeded.
Basket misshapen
Mixture of different oils/fats
Not changing the oil often
enough.

Dry the food completely lower
