During operation of electrical caloric appliances, high temperatures by hot body
parts or hot steam are generated, which may cause injuries. Never touch hot parts
while the unit is in operation! Only touch the cool touch handles! Never touch hot
plates or housing!
Caution! Heat development and fire danger! Never place the appliance next to easily
inflammable objects! Always keep enough distance to heat or steam sensitive
surface, walls, furniture, curtain.
Caution! Hot oil and fat can burn easily! Keep special care when using oil and fat as
oil and fat preparations might catch fire easily if they get overheated. Ensure that the

Ensure that the cord never comes into contact with hot parts nearby (like grillplate,
heating element etc.) to avoid damage and fire danger.

Before each use grease the grill plate, grill stone and raclette pans slightly.
Plug in to a socket nearby. Adjust the desired temperature. The grill starts heating up
and the control lamp is illuminated.
First turn the switch to half temperature position and heat up for approx. 10 minutes.
Note: It is necessary to heat up the grill plate and especially the stone slowly
due to the texture of the grill stone. Please see chapter Special notes for using the
grill stone“. After heating up turn the switch into position MAX to reach maximum heat.
When the control light turns off, the adjusted temperature level is reached.
Place the food to be grilled directly onto the grill plate or grill stone. Do not put
aluminium foil or other objects as it might be dangerous.
Grill the food according to your own taste. Grilling time depends on kind, amount and
consistence of the food and can be established in your own experience.
The reflector plate under the heating element can optimise the performance of the
grill. You can place the raclette pans there.
Caution! The reflector plate also gets hot!
The control light sometimes is illuminated, sometimes not during the heating process.
When temperature is reached it turns off, when the appliance has cooled down a bit
the control light will turn on again to indicate that the appliance will reheat to desired
temperature.
Unplug, switch off and allow to cool down completely after each use.
Only cook consumable food.

You can also grill and toast in the raclette pans, cook fruit, fry eggs or potatoes and
many other foodstuffs. You may serve the grilled meat with different sauces, salad or
French baguette.
Raclette is a typical Swiss dish. You can obtain a good raclette by using original
