High effectiveness during parboiling and minimum power consumption during cooking reduces total
energy consumption up to 30 %.
Precise controlling (by 3 different adjustable functions) guarantees quickly and tightly focused heat input.
Basically the cooking area stays cold, only the redirection of heat of the cooking ware warms it up.
As the induction cooking plate is only heated up by the heated cookware, the risk of scorching or
burning in of food residues is reduced. The induction cooking plate does not stay hot as long as
standard cooking plates (easy cleaning).
When the cookware is removed the device switches automatically into the Standby Mode.
The device detects whether suitable cookware is placed on the cooking plate. If not, no energy
is transmitted.
When operating the induction cooking plate with empty cookware, a temperature sensor turns
off the heating function in case of overheating.
Operating of the device
Caution! Never leave the appliance unattended when it is in operation!
Please follow the sequence below when adjusting the appliance. You can adjust power (watts)
temperature (C °degrees) and cooking time (hours/minutes)
Before plugging always place suitable cookware filled with food centred onto the induction cooking
plate. Otherwise error function will occur (see “Safety function”).
Insert the plug into a suitable socket, an acoustic signal resounds and the display shows OFF.
(now the device is in the Standby Mode).
Now press the ON/OFF switch to turn the device ON. A short acoustic signal resounds (whenever
you press button again or new button, a short acoustic signal resounds). The fan inside begins to
work. The display now shows i.e. 1400 (watts). This is an automatic presetting. The appliance is
now in the power mode. Select the desired power level higher or lower by pushing the PLUS or
MINUS button.
To select the desired temperature press the MENU button until the temperature mode °C is
selected. Now the appliance is in temperature mode. Select the desired temperature level higher
or lower by pushing the PLUS or MINUS button.
For selecting the timer mode press the menu button until the clock symbol is indicated. Adjust the
desired cooking time by pushing the PLUS or MINUS button. This will set the time in minute steps.
Cooking time will be indicated at the display by counting down the minutes. When cooking time is finished
this will be indicated by several acoustic signals. After finishing the cooking or keeping warm process
always switch off and unplug. All functions can be adjusted manually by pressing the corresponding
buttons. We recommend to follow the instructions in chapter “Operating of the appliance”. Do not use the
appliance if it shows any sign of damage or malfunction. Please contact the customer service (see
“Warranty claims”) in such case. Do not put empty cook ware on the appliance and do not leave
cookware too long on the appliance to avoid completely boiling away of the liquid. Overheating of
cookware will activate the overheating protection of the device.
Note: If the unit displays the error code E 05, it has been overheated. In this case turn off and
unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely.
Safety function
If you do not place cookware while the appliance is plugged but push the ON/OFF button, the appliance
for safety reason will not switch into heating function. In this case the display will show first 1200 and then
E0 for error.
If you remove the cookware while the appliance is in operation multiple acoustic signals will resound and
the display will show E0 for error. The appliance will stop to heat and will switch into StandBy Mode within
approximately 1 minute. When replacing the cookware onto the glass surface, heating function will be
activated again.
