 Always place the unit on a surface which is not sensitive to heat and splashes. If

necessary place a heat resistant mat below the unit.

Unplug the appliance

- After each use and when the appliance is not in use

- before changing accessories or cleaning the appliance

 To unplug only pull the plug, never pull on the cord to avoid damage.

 Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught

in any way. This can avoid accidents of falling down and risk of burning by hot liquids.

Before the first use

Caution! Danger for children! Danger of life by suffocation! Always keep children away

from packing material. Risk of suffocation!

 Remove all packaging material as carton and foils and dispose immediately.

 Place the unit on a stable, dry non-slip and heat resistant surface.

 Clean unit inside with a slightly damp cloth and dry well (see “Cleaning and

maintenance”).

 Fill approx. 3 litres of clear water inside the tank. Close the lid properly.

 Unroll the cord completely and connect the appliance to the current. Turn the switch

to “Warm halten/Keep warm”. The control lamp is illuminated.

 If necessary cook some water, empty and rinse the unit afterwards to remove

production residues that might be inside. Always take care not to let water run into the

electric parts of the unit. When heating up for the first time little smell might occur, this

is harmless and will disappear after a while.

 Switch off after this process and unplug.

 Open the lid and let the unit cool down.

 Wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth to remove stain and lime spots.

Caution! For safety reason always unplug after each use.

Caution! Danger of burning and scalding! Always place the appliance onto a stable

and flat surface. Take that it cannot slide away or topple down. Take care that the

cord does not hang down or touch hot or sharp edged objects.

Caution! Risk of material damage! Do not heat up the empty appliance. Fill the tank

to the MAX mark only and do not fill less that 0,5 litres. Always place the unit onto a

heat resistant surface which is not splash sensitive. If necessary place a heat

resistant mat under the unit.
