Prerequisites for correct measuring results
Always weigh yourself under the same conditions.
Always weigh yourself at the same time of day.
Stand up straight and stand still.
Weigh yourself preferably in the morning, after showe-
ring or bathing, and with dry feet.
It is possible to obtain a reliable indication of body weight
development from the results if measurements are carried
out consistently.
Weighing
1. Place the scale on a stable, rm surface. All four feet must
be touching the oor. Uneven and soft ooring affects
measuring accuracy.
2. Always weigh yourself on the same scale, at the same
place and at the same time. Weigh yourself without
clothing, before meals, preferably in the morning before
breakfast.
3. Stand with both feet on the scale. The tongue will point to
your weight in kg.
NOTE
If the scales have been transported or moved, you can calib-
rate them by tapping the surface lightly with your foot.
Is the tongue not pointing to 0.0 kg, adjust it by turning the
dial
2
to left or right, until it points to 0.0 kg.
Repeat this procedure.
