Wisselgesprek
Dienst in het telefoonnet, in het ISDN-telefoonnet en bij
telecommunicatieapparatuur. Bij wisselgesprekken kan tussen twee externe of
interne gesprekspartners worden geschakeld zonder dat de wachtende
deelnemer kan meeluisteren.
Multifrequentiesignalering met dubbele toon
Signalering in het telefoonnet. Daarbij worden de kiessignalen als combinaties
van tonen overdragen (toonkiezen). Met multifrequentiesignalering kan
bijvoorbeeld ook het antwoordapparaat van buitenaf worden beluisterd. Om
gebruik te kunnen maken van de comfortdiensten van het telefoonnet is de
ruggespraaktoets met Hook-Flash vereist.
Microfoonuitschakeling
Toets voor het uitschakelen van de microfoon. De gesprekspartner aan de
telefoon kan dan de ruggespraak die in de kamer wordt gehouden niet volgen.
MultiLink-functie
Op een vast station kunnen meerdere draadloze handsets op verschillende
plaatsen binnen de actieradius worden gebruikt.
Paging
Bij draadloze telefoons wordt een akoestisch signaal van het vaste station naar
de handset verzonden. Binnen het bereik van de telefoons kunnen met deze
functie bijvoorbeeld verplaatste apparaten kunnen opgespoord.
PIN
Afkorting voor persoonlijk identificatienummer. Dient ter beveiliging tegen
onbevoegd gebruik.
R-toets
Telefoons die met de R-toets (ruggespraaktoets) zijn uitgerust, kunnen ook
worden aangesloten op telecommunicatie-apparatuur. Bij moderne
telefoontoestellen zet de R-toets de Hook-Flashfunctie in werking: de
lijnverbinding wordt gedurende 170 - 310 ms onderbroken en aan de
