– the vacuum
cleaner attachment with a fi lter function.
Before using the article for the fi rst time, please read through these
instructions carefully and keep them for future reference and other
users. The instructions form an integral part of the article. The man-
ufacturer and importer do not accept any liability if the information
in these instructions is not complied with.

Intended Use
■ This vacuum cleaner attachment is attached to the fl oor vacu-
um cleaner. It prevents small parts from getting into the vacuum
cleaner bag or dust container during vacuuming by fi ltering
them out and collecting them in a separate container.
■ The article is designed for personal domestic use only and is
not intended for commercial applications.
■ The article should only be used as described in these instruc-
tions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
■ The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects
caused by improper handling or damage. This also applies to
normal wear and tear.

Check the items supplied for completeness and transport damage.
If you fi nd any damage, do not use the article (!), but rather contact
the customer service department.
Assembly
1. Slide the catch container
onto the vacuum cleaner
attachment.
2. Attach the adapter with the
short lines marked on it on
the vacuum cleaner attach-
ment as follows:
In the case of small suction
tube diameters, plug the
adapter into the wider end
piece of the vacuum cleaner
attachment.
In the case of larger suction
tube diameters, plug the
adapter onto the narrower
end piece of the vacuum
cleaner attachment.
3. If the plug connection
should not be suffi ciently
secure (e.g. in the case of
vacuum cleaners with a
click closure on the suction
tube), plug the adapter with
the long lines marked on it
onto the vacuum cleaner
attachment.
4. Insert the vacuum cleaner
attachment between the
handle and the suction tube
of the vacuum cleaner.
Use
NOTICE – Protect the article from: fi re, heat sources, frost and pro-
longed sunlight, moisture and wet conditions to prevent any mate-
rial damage.
1. Activate the fi lter function.
To do this, slide the lever in
the direction of the arrow.
2. Vacuum in the usual way.
The particles which are
sucked up pass the fi lter.
Parts which do not fi t
through the fi lter drop into
the catch container.
3. After use, detach and empty the catch container.
The vacuum cleaner attachment does not need to be detached.
If it is not required, fold up the fi lter by operating the lever.
Cleaning
• If dirt and contamination has collected on the fi lter, fold out the
fi lter and switch on the vacuum cleaner. The dirt and contami-
nation will be sucked up. If necessary, wipe over the fi lter with
your fi nger or a soft brush. PLEASE NOTE: Do not apply any
pressure on the fi lter when it is folded up! Otherwise it could
be damaged.
• Wipe down or rinse the article with a damp cloth if necessary.
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents! All com-
ponents must be completely dry before they are put back to-
gether.
