Warning of Electric Shock from Damage and

Inappropriate Use!

■ Only connect the article to a plug socket with safety contacts that

is properly installed and matches the technical data of the article.

The plug socket must also be readily accessible after connection

so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated.

■ Do not use the article in conjunction with extension cables.

■ Only ever use the article with the mains adapter supplied with

it. Do not use the mains adapter with other articles.

■ Remove the mains adapter from the plug socket if a fault oc-

curs during operation or before a thunderstorm.

■ When you pull it out of the plug socket, always pull on the

mains adapter and never the mains cable!

■ Do not use the article if it, the mains adapter or the mains cable

are damaged. Have any repairs done only by a specialist work-

shop or the customer service department in order to prevent

any hazards.

Warning of Fire!

■ Keep the article away from combustible materials and gases.

■ Do not cover the article during operation.

■ In the event of a ﬁ re: Do not extinguish with water! Smother the

ﬂ ames with a ﬁ reproof blanket or a suitable ﬁ re extinguisher.

Risk of Damage to Material and Property

■ Position the mains cable in such a way that it does not be-

come squashed or bent and does not come into contact with

hot surfaces.

■ Never pull or carry the article by the mains cable.

■ Protect the article from heat, naked ﬂ ames, extreme tempera-

tures, persistent moisture, wet conditions and collisions.

■ During extreme weather conditions (e.g. thunderstorm, storm,

hail) or if the article will not be used for a long time, disconnect

it from the mains power and store it in a dry place.

■ Use only original spare parts from the manufacturer.

■ Do not place or lay any heavy objects on the article, the mains

adapter or the mains cable.

Setting Up and Using the Spotlight

1. Unpack the article and check the items supplied for complete-

ness (see “Items Supplied”) and possible transport damage.

If there is any transport damage, do not use the article(!), but

contact the customer service department immediately.

2. Plug one ground spike (2) into the recess for the ground spike

on each spotlight (1).

3. Set up the spotlights (1) no more than 15 metres away from

the object which is to be illuminated. Do this by anchoring the

ground spikes (2) in the ground.

The distance between the spotlights should be approx. 20

cm so that the motifs are highly visible.

4. Align the spotlights (1) on the object which is to be illuminated

using the joint (4).

5. Plug the cable connector into the

socket on the mains adapter that

is also supplied and screw the cap

nut onto the thread of the mains

adapter.

6. Connect the mains adapter to a properly installed plug socket

Cleaning and Storage

CAUTION!

■ Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean

the article! These could damage the surface.

• Make sure that the aperture of the LED (5) is clean at all times.

You should therefore clean it with a damp cloth from time to

time.

• Store the article in a dry place that is protected from sunlight

and is not accessible to children and animals when you are

not using it.
