Zorg ervoor dat de aan-/uitschakelaar (
4
) zich tot de aanslag in
de ‘Lock’ (uit)-positie bevindt.
2.
Breng de naald omhoog tot de hoogste positie door aan het
handwiel (7) te draaien.
3.
Breng de stofklem (
12
) omhoog, leg de te bewerken stof tussen
stofklem en naaldplaat (11) en laat de stofklem zakken. BE-
LANGRIJK: de stof wordt tijdens het naaien naar links ge-
transporteerd. Daarom moet hij bij het linker uiteinde in de
naaimachine worden geplaatst.
4.
Trek de ingeregen draad (zie sectie ‘Inrijgen’) ca. 5 cm eruit.
5.
Draai het handwiel tot de naald in de stof steekt. Houd de stof
vast met de linkerhand.
6.
Neem de naaimachine in de rechterhand en schuif de aan-/uit-
schakelaar met de duim in de ‘Unlock’ (aan)-positie.
7.
De stof wordt tijdens het naaien naar links getransporteerd.
Leid de stof voorzichtig met de linkerhand zodat de naad
recht wordt. Om de steken te verlengen, kunt u licht en ge-
lijkmatig aan de stof trekken. Echter niet te veel trekken!
OPGELET! Laat het apparaat niet langer dan 10 seconden
onafgebroken ingeschakeld. Houd tussendoor pauzen van ca. 5
seconden.
Naairichting veranderen
1.
Stop de naaimachine daar, waar u van naairichting wilt veranderen, en zodanig, dat de naald
zich
in de stof bevindt. Draai eventueel aan het handwiel tot de naald in de stof steekt.
2.
Breng de stofklem omhoog en draai de stof in de nieuwe richting, waarbij u de naald als
draaipunt gebruikt.
3.
Laat de stofklem zakken en ga verder met naaien in de nieuwe richting.
Eindigen met naaien
1.
Stop de naaimachine.
2.
Breng de naald door het draaien van het handwiel in de hoogste positie.
3.
Trek met behulp van een schaar nog een beetje draad uit de
naaimachine. Knip de draad ca. 15 cm van de stof verwijderd
door, zodat er genoeg garen overblijft voor het handmatig
vastzetten van de naad.
4.
Breng de stofklem omhoog en trek de stof er voorzichtig uit.
