Het luchtlter schoonmaken
LET OP:
• Draag altijd oogbescherming.
Om het luchtlter schoon te maken, voert u de volgende stappen uit:
1. Duw de combinatieschakelaar omhoog (choke-stand) om te voorkomen dat vuil
of vreemde materialen in de carburateur vallen.
2. Open twee haken met een platkopschroevendraaier en verwijder luchtlterkap.
3. Draai de moer los en verwijder daarna het luchtlter.
OPMERKING:
• Houd tijdens het schoonmaken de opening afgedekt met een schone doek om te
voorkomen dat vuil of vreemde stoffen in de carburateur vallen.
• Als het luchtlter beschadigd is, vervangt u het onmiddellijk.
4. Tik ertegen of maakt het schoon met een borstel of luchtcompressor om het vuil
te verwijderen.
5. Als het luchtlter zeer vuil is, vervangt u het door een nieuwe.
6. Breng het luchtlter en de luchtlterkap weer aan door de bovenstaande stappen
in omgekeerde volgorde uit te voeren.
Het brandstoflter schoonmaken
Het brandstoflter op de zuigkop wordt gebruikt om de brandstof die door de
carburateur wordt aangezogen, te lteren. Voer regelmatig een visuele inspectie uit.
1. Draai de tankdop eraf en gebruik een draadhaak om de zuigkop uit de
brandstofvulopening te trekken.
2. Als het lter hard of verstopt is, vervangt u het.
3. Na het controleren, schoonmaken of vervangen van het brandstoflter, bevestigt
u het met een slangklem op de brandstoeiding. Duw het brandstoflter helemaal
naar de bodem van de brandstoftank.
OPMERKING:
• Wij adviseren u het brandstoflter minstens elke drie maanden te vervangen om
voldoende brandstoftoevoer naar de carburateur te garanderen. Anders kan door
onvoldoende brandstoftoevoer een motorstoring ontstaan.
De bougie controleren
LET OP:
• Raak de bougiekap nooit aan terwijl de motor draait (gevaar van elektrische
schok door hoogspanning).
De afstand tussen de twee elektroden van de bougie moet 0,6 tot 0,7 mm
bedragen. Als de afstand te groot of te klein is, moet u deze aanpassen. Als
de elektroden van de bougie verstopt of vervuild zijn, moet u deze grondig
schoonmaken of de bougie vervangen.
