Use this Guide Rail Adaptor with MAKITA or FESTO Guide Rail.
CAUTION:
Always be sure that the circular saw is switched off and unplugged before installing or removing the guide rail adaptor.
For 5603R, 5703R and 5705R
Installation (Fig. 2)
Insert the guide rail adaptor into the slots in the base until the guide rail adaptor comes in contact with the edge of the
base. Tighten the clamp screws (A) to secure the guide rail adaptor.
How to use
1. Loosen the clamp screws (B). Adjust the guide rail adaptor so that the pointer will point to the graduation corre-
sponding to your desired bevel cut angle (0°, 15°, 30° or 45°). Tighten the clamp screws (B) to secure the guide rail
adaptor. (Fig. 3)
2. Align the edge of the guide rail with the cutting line on the workpiece. (Fig. 4)
3. Place the circular saw on the guide rail so that the groove in the guide rail adaptor with fit onto the protrusion of the
guide rail. (Fig. 4)
4. Now you can start cutting.
For 5903R and 5103R
Installation
1) For 0° or 45° bevel cuts
1. Set the stoppers on the guide rail adaptor to the 0° or 45° bevel cut position. (Fig. 6 & 7)
2. Place the circular saw on the guide rail adaptor so that the edge of the base will contact the stoppers on the
front and back. Tighten the clamp screw to secure the guide rail adaptor. (Fig. 8)
Note:
Make sure that the front surface of the push plate is flush with the side of base as shown in the figure. (Fig. 10)
2) For 15° or 30° bevel cuts
1. Set the stoppers on the guide rail adaptor to the 0° bevel cut position. (Fig. 6)
2. Place the circular saw on the guide rail adaptor and align the edge of the base with the desired graduation on
the guide rail adaptor. Tighten the clamp screw to secure the guide rail adaptor. (Fig. 9)
Note:
Make sure that the front surface of the push plate is flush with the side of base as shown in the figure. (Fig. 10)
How to use (Fig. 11)
1. Align the edge of the guide rail with the cutting line on the workpiece.
2. Place the circular saw on the guide rail so that the groove in the guide rail adaptor will fit onto the protrusion of the
guide rail.
3. Now you can start cutting.
